Last year, I purchased two tickets as a Christmas gift for my son, who has been a fan all his life. His mom and I divorced a few years ago, and he got very upset when he found out she had booked a cruise for herself and our children for the same week after knowing he had tickets for his childhood idol. He said it was the best decision he ever made since Thrice put on an unforgettable show which he'll never forget. Instead, he passed on the cruise and attended the show and still hasn't stopped talking about it. I was so happy Thrice was everything he'd hoped for, and hopefully I can send him on a cruise to make it up to him. He told me no way, that he wouldn't have changed his mind for anything after seeing Thrice perform. Kudos to Ms. Swift for being the professional she is.
